How to Choose The Right Gymnastics Class for Your Child?

My child and I are new to gymnastics, what level do I join?

We offer:
You & Me classes (walkers to 3 years old)

How do I know what level my child is?

Almost all children will begin at level 1 if they are new to gymnastics. However, our mission at Flip2it Sports Center is to provide the best gymnastics to every child at their level. If your child has had previous gymnastics or tumbling experience you may schedule a free placement evaluation.

How do I schedule a placement evaluation?

We want to ensure that your child is placed into the appropriate class for his/her level. Create an account on the parent portal, choose ‘Placement Evaluation’ under programs and then select the evaluation time of choice. Lastly, choose ‘active’ for enrollment type and then specify your evaluation is a placement evaluation in the ‘Anything Else We Need To Know? / Note box

If you are already in a class and want your child to be evaluated outside of Skill Testing week, please contact the office.

How do I know when my child is ready to promote to the next level?

We have a great system in place: Each child is "Skill Tested and Approved". Level 1 & 2's will automatically Skill Test every 8 weeks and Level 3 & 4's will automatically Skill Test every 12 weeks. If your child is ready to promote to the next level, your child will receive a Medal as well as a Certificate at the end of the class with instructions on how to look for a new class (unless the full classed moved up one level). The front desk will be able to help you find a new class or you can go online and sign up for the next level . If your child needs more progress in their current level, the coach will have that information as well as a skill sheet for you at the end of that day. Your coach will be able to help your child through the next 8 or 12 weeks to prepare for the next testing. 

Level 5 - 7 Students will Skill Test on their own pace and will move up once they are ready to do so,

Ninja Zone Students will be invited to a Mission once they are ready to move to their next level. During a mission Ninjas will go trough 2 obstacle courses, recite their Greet & Mantra as well as show some of their Ninja Gymnastics skills. At the end of each Mission Ninjas will receive a new Headband (with the new color of the new Level), a Ninja Zone certificate, A Ninja Zone Medal and a Ninja Tattoo. The Missions are $25 and are held every 3 month on a Saturday at the gym. Ninjas are also able to receive a Certificate as soon as they have passed off 1/2 of their skills in their level.  

If I need to drop a class, can you hold my spot until next month?

Unfortunately, we cannot hold your spot. You will need to log in to your account and process a “Drop Request”. When you are ready to re-enroll, you can do this up to one week prior to the day want to return. You will not have to repay your Ninja enrollment fee when you return.

What is your drop policy?

Members wishing to drop from any classes must notify Flip 2 it Sports Center 30 days prior to their last day. Make ups must be scheduled within the 30 days. If you need to drop to a medical reason please call the office immediately so we can work something out with you.

Register to start classes at Flip 2 It with NO RISK! If you are not 100% satisfied at the end of your child's first class, we will refund you in full on the same day.

There is a $15 Ninja Zone Fee (this is not a Gym Registration Fee) as well as Ninja Zone requires a uniform. Tuition will be refunded as well as the $15 Fee for Ninjas, NOT the uniform fee that is required on the first day of practice.

You will be automatically enrolled in the class you signed up for till you give a 30 day cancellation.

How to register for a class

  1. Click the “Parent Login” button on the home page at then click on “CREATE AN ACCOUNT”. If you have been enrolled before, please enter your email address we have on file and login with your current password. If you have forgotten your password, click on “Forgot password”. You will receive an email with a password.
  2. Fill-out ALL parent information and click Save
  3. Accept Terms and conditions – This is our Digital Release Form. All Policies/Waivers are digital. No Paper versions will be accepted.
  4. Add Student information.
  5. Once student information has been saved you will be directed to our class availability page. At this point you may use the filters to find the correct class based on the age and level of your student. You may select any class that fits your schedule-FULL Classes will be accepted as a WAITLIST.
  6. Select submit request on the class you would like to attend. The next window will ask you to choose the date you want to start. You will then change the class type from ACTIVE to TRIAL.
  7. Enter your credit card information. PLEASE NOTE… if your credit card is NOT inputted into the system, your class selection will not be accepted by the computer system. We do require a debit or credit card on file to start classes. We do not accept American Express. Tuition will not be charged until you arrive for your first day of class day.

Our office staff is available Monday through Saturday to answer all of your registration questions! Students can start classes at any point as long as there is space availability in the class that you are interested in. You must pre-register to try the class.

Flip2It runs in 4 week billing sessions. Once enrolled, your student will be auto-billed every 4 weeks until we receive a 30 day Written Cancellation notice. Flip2It requires all customers to have a credit or debit card on file. We will email an invoice to you the week before the new 4 week billing session starts.

You may pay your tuition online during this week, however, payments not received by the first Monday of the session will be charged to the credit card on file. Any payments made after the first week of the billing session will incur a $10.00 late fee.

Please keep in mind that your tuition is based on enrollment, not attendance. These 4 class spots will be held for you, whether you are here or not, until you give a 30-Day Cancellation Notice or if you have a past due balance. If your tuition is past due for 30 days we will submit an automatic 30 Day Cancellation. Payment for the preceding 4 classes is still required if an automatic drop is initiated. A 30 day cancellation notice needs to be given in writing by email or by filling our cancellation form which is located in front office).

Here at Flip2It we reserve your child's spot in their specific class; this means that tuition is based on enrollment and NOT on their attendance. If needed, we allow ONE courtesy make-up per 4 week billing session. Make-up classes are NOT guaranteed, due to limited class space. Flip2It also reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any make-ups.

Make ups must be used within 30 days of your child missing class or they will no longer be available. Refunds will not be given for any missed classes to include holidays. Make-ups CANNOT be rescheduled (we do not allow make-ups for make-ups). Make-ups must be scheduled online only. If your child is dropping, all make-up's need to be completed before their final day. We do not add make-ups onto the end of cancellation period.

You will be auto enrolled and billed for tuition until we receive a 30-Day Written Cancellation Notice. Your tuition is based on enrollment, not attendance. These 4 class spots will be held for you, whether you attend or not, until you give a 30 day written cancellation notice, or if you have a past due balance.
